How far would you go to uncover the truth?

After overcoming the trials at the House of Whispers, Ori has proven his loyalty and risen as one of their elite Ghosts. Now a hired gun with few equals, he has his pick of jobs across the valley, but not all is well. Wracked by guilt over the bodies left by his promotion, Ori’s doubts about his position are only compounded when he finds a cryptic cipher left by his missing teacher pointing to a conspiracy within the House.

To unravel the mystery, Ori travels to the Reaver Deserts, a wasteland of cutthroat scavengers in the shadow of a rift, where he encounters new faces and old foes, and learns that the sins of his past aren’t so easily forgiven. But as he traverses the unforgiving wastes, he discovers they hold an ancient secret that could reveal the true nature of rifts, and that his enemies will stop at nothing to harness its power.

With the clock ticking down towards the explosive birth of a new rift, Ori must uncover the truth hidden in its destruction and chart his own path before everything he loves is swept away under a tide of light.

How far would you go to pay your debts?

Ori’s brightest memory is the day he learned to channel light. But in the neon city of Acrylis, the power to channel an element is hardly a blessing, not with the government-run anti-channeling campaigns nor the fact that everyone carries nullsteel—shackles for channelers. To survive, a channeler must hide for life or fight.

As the failed heir to a corporate empire, Ori is a man with debts to pay, the first among many to the woman who took him in and taught him how to wield a sword. He enlists as a recruit at the House of Whispers, an elite mercenary corp filled with channelers, and enters a world of brutal training and tests where only the strongest survive. To make it to the top, Ori must forge alliances and evade recruits out for his blood, all while navigating the cutthroat politics of the House.

But the House isn’t Ori’s only concern. Fanned by a corrupt city councilor, tensions against channelers in Acrylis threaten to become a full-blown purge. As danger encroaches from all sides, Ori must prove his loyalty to the House or risk losing everything to a city where being a channeler has become a death sentence.
